Prabhas Raju Uppalapati (born October 23, 1973), popularly known as Prabhas is a Tollywood actor and the nephew of Tollywood star and politician Krishnam Raju Uppalapati. Prabhas Raju Uppalapati was born on 23rd October 1973 in Chennai, India. He currently lives in Hyderabad, India. His father is U Suryanarayana Raju and mother is Siva Kumari. He is one of three children. His brother is Prabodh and sister is Pragathi. His uncle is the famous actor and politician Krishnam Raju Uppalapati.

Personal life:

Prabhas was born to U.Suryanarayana Raju and Siva Kumari. His family is from Mogalturu village in West Godavari. He is the second of three children. He is the nephew of former telugu actor and star Krishnam Raju.

Career:

Prabhas started his movie career with Eeshwar in 2001. In 2003, he was the lead in Raghavendra. He gained popularty in 2004 with M.S. Raju's film, Varsham opposite Trisha Krishnan. He followed with Adavi Raamudu and Chakram. In September 2005 he made the film Chatrapathi, opposite actress Shriya Saran. Chatrapathi was followed by Pournami, Yogi and Munna, Bujjigadu, Billa and Ek Niranjan. Darling came out in 2010 followed by the release Mr. Perfect. Rebel is set to release in 2012.
