Tarun Kumar (Telugu: తరుణ్) is an Indian film actor who primarily works in Telugu cinema and Tamil cinema. He frequently appears in Romantic comedy films.
Career
He is the eldest son of noted actress Roja Ramani and Oriya actor Chakrapani. He started his acting career under Usha Kiran Movies production, as a child actor. Following his mother's foot steps, Tarun bagged the National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1991 for the Tamil film Anjali directed by Mani Ratnam. He has acted in numerous films as a child artist including the Tamilblockbuster Thalapathi (1991), starring Rajinikanth. His first film as a lead actor, Nuvve Kavali went on to become Tollywood's biggest blockbuster of 2000.
