Early life and family
Ahuti Prasad was born as a Adusumilli Janardhan Vara Prasad to A.Ranga Rao and Hymavathi. Basically he is from Koduru of Krishna district near Mudinepally. later his family migrated to Raichur in Karnataka when he was a kid.He was interested in acting at his college days and he wanted to become an actor.After completed his education he moved to Hyderabad and joined the Film Institute of veteran director V. Madhusudhan Rao and Devadas Kanakala was the principal of the institute.Ramjagan and Late Atchyut were his classmates at that institute.
Career
His career started with Vikram directed by V. Madhusudhan Rao.It was also Nagarjuna's debut film. He also did an assistant director for V. Madhusudana Rao for the film Malle Moggalu. When he was doing the film Ee Prashnaku Baduledi? producer Shyam Prasad saw him in the shooting and offered him Ahuti. With that film that gave him a big break and he became Ahuti Prasad.
